ABSTRACT: A 38-year-old female patient with acute necrotizing fasciitis of breast was admitted for evaluation and treatment.
A series of debridement was performed from admission, as well as the use of VAC® therapy. Once the surgical bed of the wound was adequate and with negative culture for microorganisms, application of partial thickness skin graft was performed.
Follow- up was performed in 2 months and the patient was satisfied with the results without presenting complications.
